Export Compliance Statement
This statement summarizes the export-control position for UCAN Studio software and hardware deliveries by Alefbits GmbH (Germany).
Governing regimes
Deliveries are subject to applicable export-control laws, in particular EU Regulation 2021/821 (dual-use), EU sanctions regulations, German foreign-trade law (AWG/AWV), and — where US-origin items or technology are involved — the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Software
UCAN Studio is a commercial engineering tool for automotive network simulation, testing and analysis. It implements standard, published cryptographic protocols (e.g. TLS) solely for communication analysis and secure connectivity, using widely available open-source cryptographic libraries. Item-level classification statements (EU dual-use / ECCN) for specific releases are provided to customers on request as part of vendor onboarding.
Sanctions and the "No-Russia" clause
In line with Art. 12g of Regulation (EU) 833/2014 and Art. 8g of Regulation (EC) 765/2006, our quotations, order confirmations and invoices include a no-re-export clause covering the Russian Federation and Belarus. We screen transactions against applicable EU sanctions lists and do not conclude business with sanctioned parties.
Customer cooperation
Where export-control checks require it, we may ask customers to provide end-recipient, end-destination and end-use information. Delays caused by export-control reviews or licensing procedures extend agreed deadlines correspondingly.
