An Integrated Automotive Engineering Workbench

UCAN Studio adds an automotive engineering layer on top of a familiar, extensible IDE. Editors, logs, consoles, terminals, and downloadable VSX extensions sit right next to domain-specific automotive tooling — so your everyday development environment lives in the same place as simulation, test, and trace.

The platform brings the GUI, the Python SDK and CLI, and AI agents into one environment with full operational parity. Model communication topologies, write behaviors and tests in Python, run simulations, execute SIL and HIL test campaigns, analyze captured or live traces, and automate the whole workflow in CI/CD.

It spans automotive communication domains including EV charging communication, diagnostics, Automotive Ethernet, and SIL/HIL testing. Diagnostic databases (ODX, CDD, PDX, DEXT) and communication databases (DBC and AUTOSAR extracts) drive decoding, typed Python accessors, signal analysis, and programmatic test generation — including diagnostic tests generated directly from diagnostic databases.

Add-on Packs on the Base Platform

The base platform covers simulation, testing, trace analysis, dashboards, hardware, and the SDK. Add-on packs extend it with agentic AI, EV charging simulation, and conformance testing.

AI — uCAN Engineer

Add the agentic AI layer: the uCAN Engineer drives the full create, run, analyze, and fix loop across the platform.
