Addendum B — Conformance Testing (CACTI-EV)
Part of the Alefbits Master EULA (Software Products). Applies to UCAN-CACTI-… part numbers.
1. What is licensed
CACTI-EV executes TTCN-3 conformance test campaigns against Licensee's EV or EVSE implementations, integrated into the UCAN test framework. The covered standard(s) follow from the licensed part number:
| Part number | Standards covered | Conformance test specifications |
|---|---|---|
UCAN-CACTI-… | ISO 15118-2, ISO 15118-3, DIN 70121 | ISO 15118-4 / -5, DIN 70122 |
UCAN-CACTI20-… | ISO 15118-20 | second-generation test specifications (ISO 15118-21/-23), as released |
Part numbers designated as under development on the Order Form are delivered upon release; test-suite scope at release follows the then-current published state of the referenced test specifications.
2. Evidence, not certification
2.1 CACTI-EV produces conformance test evidence (verdicts, traces, reports). It does not constitute, replace or guarantee certification, type approval, listing or homologation by any certification body, standards organization or authority.
2.2 Test suites implement Licensor's interpretation of the referenced standards as of the suite release date. Standards evolve and contain ambiguities; a PASS verdict is not a representation that a certification body will reach the same conclusion.
3. Standard documents
The ISO/DIN standard texts are not included and must be obtained by Licensee from the respective standards bodies.
4. Suite updates
Updated suites tracking standard revisions and errata are delivered through M&S (Schedule 3; included in subscriptions, annual with perpetual licenses). Conformance campaigns should always run the latest suite release — a frozen conformance suite drifts from the evolving standards it tests, which is why active M&S is strongly recommended for perpetual CACTI-EV licenses.
5. Hardware
Conformance execution over PLC requires supported test hardware (e.g. Whitebeet/Codico devices), procured separately by Licensee unless quoted on the Order Form.
6. Liability
Without limiting the Master EULA: Licensor is not liable for certification outcomes, market-access delays, or costs arising from divergence between a CACTI-EV verdict and a certification body's judgment.
